ARTIST'S BIO
Hope Esser grew up in New York City and graduated cum laude from Oberlin College
in 2007 with a double major in Studio Art and Art History. She has exhibited her work
in Oberlin, OH, New York, NY, and Chicago, IL. Through her reverence for second hand
and discarded materials, her wearable sculptures, performances, and video installations
straddle the line between fashion and art. She attends the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago for her Master of Fine Arts in Performance.
